Tedious Boris

Boris had only one friend, a friend that meant his whole life to him and was almost like his sole mate. That friend was the computer. Everyday, Boris rested his head on the desk and gazed at his monitor like an owl. As he gazed at his monitor,  everyday, he solved infinite number of complex mathematical equation on the computer. Every day, he read an e-book called "How to memorize the pie" in an endless continuous cycle and each time he finished it, he muttered to himself in a dull voice "How exciting was that?"No lights were turned on, only his computer screen was lightened, and his windows were all closed and covered with curtains, showing no sign of light and life. It was as if he was isolated from the whole society and the world.
